Kia Forte Reviews

Are you thinking of driving the Kia Forte around the Langhorne, Philadelphia, and Levittown areas? We think that's great! This is a popular pick among many local drivers. However, before you swing by our dealership for a test drive, we recommend reading through a few 2019 Kia Forte reviews.

Doing this can help you understand this sedan a little better so that you know exactly what you're looking for during your test drive. Are you ready to get started? Check out the links below, then give us a call to get behind the wheel!

Kia Forte Interior

Despite being a compact car, the Kia Forte interior gives you plenty of space to settle in and get comfortable. It features two rows and enough seats for five passengers, including the driver. It has a total interior volume of 96 cubic feet and enough trunk space for 15.3 cubic feet of luggage, sporting equipment, or groceries.

You can also make the most of every drive with comfort features like available heated and ventilated seats. Plus, it comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen display in the center stack with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility.

Kia Forte Trim Levels

The Kia Forte comes in five different trim levels: FE, LXS, GT-Line, EX, GT. If you only want the standard features, you'll want the FE trim. This configuration gives you a lot to work with, including a 147-horsepower engine, smart safety features like Driver Attention Warning (DAW), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), and 6-way adjustable driver's seat.

From there, the other four trim levels will build on, adding in features like a 201-horsepower turbocharged engine, smart cruise control, a 320-watt sound system, Sofino® seat trim, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Kia Forte Gas Mileage

As you'd expect from a compact car, the Kia Forte is a pretty efficient sedan. At most, it gets an EPA-estimated 31 city/41 highway MPG.1 It does this with the 147-horsepower engine and the available Intelligent Continuously Variable Transmission (IVT).

With the same engine and the 6-speed manual transmission, you'll get an EPA-estimated 27 city/37 highway MPG.1

The Kia Forte is able to achieve such a high fuel economy because it's equipped with front-wheel drive. This lightweight system helps to lower your sedan's curb weight and keep it more fuel-efficient. It also has a fuel tank capacity of 14 gallons.

Kia Forte Safety Ratings

The 2019 Kia Forte was awarded as a 2019 TOP SAFETY PICK+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). It got this safety rating by achieving "Good" ratings in all areas of crashworthiness, including roof strength, driver and passenger overlap, and head restraints.

It also received a high rating for its standard front crash prevention system. This refers to the Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist systems.  These features work together to alert you to potential hazards up ahead and automatically hit the brakes, if necessary, to try to avoid an oncoming collision.
