At the end of a lease, it is essential to conduct a thorough check of the car. It will help you prepare psychologically and financially when turning in your car.
At McCafferty Kia of Langhorne we advise our clients to take note of the following items before the expiry date of the lease contract:
- Have you gone over the specified mileage? If so, you should expect that this will be charged when you turn in the car.
- Does the car have any damages, window cracks or such? These are referred to as excessive tear and wear. If not, relax. If it has, you shouldn’t be worried. The dealership will go over them, and you will be required to pay a small amount of fee to pay for the repairs.
- What do you want at the end of the lease? You can turn it in and walk away; buy it; lease a different model or extend its lease.
Once you have checked all the above, you are ready to come into McCafferty Kia of Langhorne and walk out with a smile.
