Everyone loves a good road trip, especially as the season starts to turn green. Packing up friends, some snacks, and some cool drinks is definitely a key part of having fun. But one way to ruin that good time is to have an emergency and not be prepared. Problems can come in all shapes and sizes, and with just a few important items, you can make solving them.
Bring a USB charger that works in a car in case your phone starts to die. If the car has USB installed, great, but don't be stuck without a converter if you need it. Also, it doesn't hurt to still take a paper map with you for the area in which you will be travelling. Paper never loses power.
Bring water, towels, and blankets. Jumper cables and maybe even a booster pack are key. A flashlight is a must, as are the basic tools for your car. A wrench and pliers can often save the day.
